1. Extreme Job 

Starting off strong - we have Extreme Job airing in early 2019, with a viewer rating of 4.8 stars! This movie follows a team of 5 narcotics detectives who are put on a mission to take down a criminal organization. They go undercover as employees at a chicken restaurant, but things quickly don’t go as planned. The chicken restaurant becomes a viral sensation for its delicious chicken, gaining much more popularity than expected. The detectives now find themselves in a predicament they didn’t see coming, selling chicken by day and fighting crime by night. Watch to see how this series of unexpected events unfold!

2. Scandal Makers 

If you’re looking for something that will tug on your heartstrings but still give you a good laugh, look no further. Nam Hyun Soo is a popular radio dj, who was even more popular in his younger years. One day, he’s met at his door with a young woman and a little boy who claims to be his daughter and grandson. He immediately tries to close the door on them, but the young woman threatens to go to the press. Nam Hyun Soo is left with no choice but to let them in. Problems begin to arise when the pair are seen together and are rumored to be lovers. Loaded with the perfect mixture of scenes that are sad, funny, and touching, this movie will definitely take you on a ride that you won’t want to get off of.

3. Hello Ghost 

Spooky doesn’t always have to mean scary! Hello Ghost brings a comical touch to the world of ghosts. Main character Sang Man feels defeated with life and attempts to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge. To his luck, he fails and instead wakes up seeing 4 ghosts who all have peculiar personalities - a creepy grandpa, chain smoking taxi driver, a constantly crying lady, and an insatiably hungry child. He goes to the hospital to get checked out because there’s no way he’s actually seeing dead people. Unexpectedly, he falls in love with a nurse from the hospital, meanwhile still being haunted by ghosts. Sang Man now has to help them fulfill their wishes for them to leave him alone, once and for all.

4. Twenty 

Starring Korea’s heart throb, Kim Woo Bin - Twenty is a lighthearted movie about a group of 3 best friends from high school. The movie shows all the different struggles and antics they go through as 20 year olds. Chi Ho, who has a girlfriend, is always in constant temptation of going after other women, Dong Woo is a starving comic artist who has to juggle several part time jobs, and Gyung Jae is a college freshman who wants to land a corporate job. What’s life going to throw at these 3 as they try to learn how to navigate it as young adults?

5. 200 Pounds Of Beauty

200 Pounds of Beauty is a classic based off of a popular Japanese manga called Kannasan Daiseikou Desu! It’s about a girl named Han Na, who’s overweight and also has the voice of an angel. Her dream is to be a singer, but due to her appearance she’s only been able to work as vocals for a popular singer who is rather…less than talented. One day, Han Na is invited to a producer's birthday party where she’s given a revealing red dress to wear, only to find out that the beautiful skinny popular singer is also wearing the same dress. Han Na is absolutely mortified. She disappears for a year, later returning looking like a brand new person going by the name Jenny.

6. Midnight Runners 

Perfect for the action comedy buffs, Midnight Runners has all the fighting and jokes you could ask for. Ki Joon and Hee Yeol are two students at the Korean National Police University. However, they’re far from being the most impressive of all the cadets. One night, as they’re out they witness a woman getting kidnapped. They immediately try to alert authorities, but quickly realize that they need to take matters into their own hands. Ki Joon and Hee Yeol use their very limited cadet skills but huge passion for justice to attempt to save the woman's life. Will they succeed or will it be too late?
