We are thrilled to report that we’ve raised over $215K in our equity crowdfunding campaign. We are very appreciative to receive such a strong validation of our mission.
This capital allows us to continue spreading Korean food and flavors across America and become the Korean food brand of America by integrating mainstream culture, art, music, and content with food. Over the past couple months, we’ve partnered with EveryTable, SnackNation, Cargo, and most recently, The GiftBox, a tailored subscription box by Phil Heath, the 7-time and current Mr. Olympia.
Our new Head of Product and Product Development, celebrity chef Chris Oh, has already begun developing several new sauces, and we’re on schedule to launch them by 4th quarter this year.
In the long-term, our success will depend on our execution, which has been one of our greatest strengths to date. We hope to build KPOP Foods into the Korean food brand for America by focusing on the following:
- Expanding Distribution into Traditional Retail - We’ve already expanded into over 90 specialty stores and are communicating with brokers to begin working with major retailers and distributors.
- Developing Easy-to-Use and Approachable Products - Chris Oh brings a tremendous amount of experience in understanding people’s taste palates and his knowledge and creativity of combining Korean flavors with mainstream cuisine is a significant benefit going forward.
- Building the KPOP Foods’ Brand and Future Partnerships - As we continue to expand and grow, we’ll continue to leverage the brand to find more unique opportunities, further differentiating us from our competitors.
- Revenue Growth and Profitability - By accomplishing the above, we’re confident to see significant revenue growth and profitability, allowing us to continue expanding.
