Time flies and seasons change. Here are our favorite recipes to make using September’s in-season foods. This is definitely the best time of year to try these recipes out while these ingredients are at their peak quality. We have all kinds of recipes from savory to sweet, take your pick and start cooking today! You definitely want to make sure you try each of these out before the season ends. 😉

1. Eggplant Sliders

First on the plate are eggplant sliders! We have to say these are one of the most delicious sliders we’ve had. They taste great and are so easy to make, all you have to do is pop them in the air fryer and let the crispy magic happen. These eggplant sliders are filled with a spicy shrimp mixture in between, giving a delicious savory flavor, and then coated in panko crumbs for a nice crunch. Dip them in our Honey Glaze Sauce for the perfect touch of sweetness and it’s game over.

2. Corn Ribs

Corn during this time tastes absolutely immaculate, it’s plump, juicy, and so sweet. Even if you don’t try this recipe (why wouldn’t you though? 🧐), you should definitely get your hands on some corn. Corn ribs will have you forgetting all about your traditional beef ribs that leave you feeling heavy after. These are light and crispy on the outside, while bursting with juice when you bite into them. If you’ve never experienced corn like this, now is the time!

This recipe is not only delicious but calls for two in season ingredients, garlic and carrots, which just makes it all the tastier! The carrots are roasted with sprinkles of salt, parmesan, and garlic for a crispy outside. Once you bite into it you’re get the sweet carrot that’s soft and tender from being slightly caramelized. This appetizer complements any dinner and will be loved by the family, so don’t be surprised if you’re asked to make this over and over again!

4. Air Fried Crispy Potatoes

Who doesn’t love potatoes? You can prepare them in so many different ways but our favorite by far is to air fry them because you know what they say - the crispier the better. 🤤 You can enjoy these on their own as a snack or as a side. We honestly love munching on these with a group of friends while binge watching movies. The next time you’re craving potatoes you have to try this out. Top it off with our Kimchi Mayo for a tangy touch or our XXX Chili Sauce if you really want a kick! 🔥

5. Apple Cobbler

Now enough of the savory foods - for all our sweet tooth people, apples are now in season, which means apple crumbles, apple pies, and best of all apple cobbler! Apple cobbler is a classic and for good reason. It tastes like love baked in a dish. ❤️This recipe calls for less sugar in both the filling and the toppings so you can enjoy it with less guilt, but let's be real the best part is the scoop of vanilla ice cream on top melting over the fresh warm crust and soft tart apples. We give this recipe our 5 star approval!
